Stepan Oilfield Solutions is a leader in oilfield surfactants for conventional and unconventional oil and gas recovery. They manufacture oilfield chemicals for three major market segments: drilling, production and stimulation. They offer components and formulations into the upstream sector, covering drilling, cementing, completions, hydraulic fracturing, production, and IOR/EOR technologies.
In 2019 Synchro designed and constructed an expansion to Stepan’s laboratory at their Center of Excellence in Houston, TX. The roughly 1,520 sf of lab space houses a dedicated team of chemists and industry experts to support the global energy market. The project scope included new laboratory benching, casework, fume hoods and adjustable snorkels, nitrogen, air and CO2 supply, and additional infrastructure for research equipment.
