SLB Digital In Action Center & Well Pad Simulation Facility

Synchro partnered with SLB to convert a former machine shop at their North Course campus into a state-of-the-art Digital In Action Center and Well Pad Simulation facility. The design leveraged an adapted reuse strategy to introduce a new building within an existing tilt-wall structure to deliver a highly specialized program while minimizing cost and schedule impacts.

At the core of the facility is a high-performance visualization room featuring a 10-foot by 30-foot LED display wall. Designed to support immersive presentations and real-time data visualization, the space enables SLB to showcase their advanced energy technologies and remote well pad monitoring and operating capabilities. The visualization room integrates advanced technology within a refined, branded environment, featuring custom millwork, cloud ceilings, acoustic wall panels, and electrochromic smart glass that allows the space to transition seamlessly between private presentation mode and open visual connectivity to the adjacent well pad simulation area.

Through a fully integrated design-build approach, Synchro coordinated complex power, AV, data, and equipment requirements while accelerating permitting and construction and staying within the established budget. The result is a cutting-edge operations and client engagement space that showcases SLB’s leadership in energy technology.
